Leading up to the Shivering songs Festival, I did what I do best… I bombarded people with e-mails and asked them to answer a few questions for me.
Over the next few days I’ll be posting short interviews and video clips of some exciting performers at the festival.
Today is Paul Murphy. You may know him from [...]

Countdown to the Shivering Songs Festival – 5 days!
I am beyond excited for this weekend’s Shivering Songs Festival in Fredericton.
When the organizers announced in October that Mark Kozelek would be playing the festival… February couldn’t come fast enough.
**If any of you follow my twitter account, you get bombarded with weekly Sun Kil Moon lyrics. Mark Kozelek is the singer/songwriter in my favourite band. [...]

Nailpolishcanada.com – Soulstice Nail Polish
I was absolutely thrilled when NailPolishCanada.com contacted me about one of their new lines – Soulstice Spa.
Normally I would shy away from doing reviews (as I’m a bit TOO honest) but I couldn’t refuse when they told me the polish was vegan. *In fact, I was unaware that some polish ISN’T
They asked me to pick [...]

After posting the Jason Wu Pre-Fall lookbook last week, there was no way I was going to pass up sharing my favourite looks from the Jason Wu for Target collection!

I love things I love: My January Glymm Box!
Hi friends!
I am a sucker for anything subscription based. I love paying for things on a monthly basis and receiving them to my door with little to no effort. This could be why I have so many magazine subscriptions!
Before Christmas I signed up for a neat new* kind of subscription service for MAKEUP. Yes, once [...]

Interview with: Amy Ash
When you live in a City as small as Saint John, you’re bound to know everyone. Up until the summer of 2011, I didn’t really know Amy at all! (Still, so shocking to me!)
I’m so glad that I’ve gotten to know her over the fall. She’s just accepted a job with my BFF Judith Mackin [...]

Check out this lookbook: Jason Wu Pre-Fall 2012
The way that runway fashion works has always been a bit of a mystery to me. Of course, I see the logic in planning ahead – a designer has a collection, shows it to prospective buyers, takes orders and gets to work.
In cities like Saint John, our winter is so miserable that it’s almost depressing [...]
