The way that runway fashion works has always been a bit of a mystery to me. Of course, I see the logic in planning ahead – a designer has a collection, shows it to prospective buyers, takes orders and gets to work.
In cities like Saint John, our winter is so miserable that it’s almost depressing to look toward spring and summer. It’s so far away!
Get this – pre-fall collections have been released prior to the runway shows coming up in February. That’s right – designers are ready for FALL 2012 already!
